Storybook SAL Secret Cross Stitch Pattern
- The design measures approx. 10.8 x 9.7 inches if stitched 14/28 count.
- The SAL runs for 12 months; from the 1st May 2024 - 1st May 2025.
- The pattern is a full, counted cross stitch with colour blocks and symbols.
- It is a full-coverage pattern with lots of backstitching. But don't worry if you're a beginner as there will be tutorials for you.
- It uses 47 DMC colours but in the welcome video, I share how you don't need to go out and buy them all right now.
Video tutorials and Zoom calls
- Each month there will be a video for you to watch that walks you through the new release of the pattern.
- If any tutorials are needed they will be inside the SAL for you each month. You can also request any that you want/need.
- There will be a few Zoom calls throughout this SAL to come together online for some community stitching.

What is a Stitch Along?
A stitch along is an event where we all stitch the same pattern together over a set number of weeks/months for a certain length of time.
How will I get inside after I purchase it?
Once you have purchased there will be a link on the confirmation page taking you right inside, plus you will get an email. You should either have to create an account with Teachable (the platform that hosts the course) or log in if you already have an account.
How long will it take to finish?
If you follow along month by month you will have a finished design in one year. But don't worry if you fall behind, you get access to all of the patterns and videos (and replays of the calls) even after we finish. I don't want you to worry about staying on track and rushing to finish; just enjoy the process and know that all the patterns will be there for you waiting for when you're ready.
What comes with the purchase?
This is a fully digital product so you get instant access and nothing in the mail. The list of the supplies you need once you're inside plus links to where you can buy them.
There is video walkthrough of the pattern each month and lots of hints and tips to help you along.
Do I have to show up at a certain time or day?
Nope, just log into Teachable and access the patterns each month. You will get email reminders so you don't forget.
There will be some live calls during this SAL but you will get advanced notice and access to the replays.
How long do I have access to the product for?
How does forever sound? That's right, as long as the Hannah Hand Makes exists, you will have access to all of the patterns. Plus you can download them to keep.
Do you offer refunds?
For downloadable patterns, refunds are usually not offered. However, if you change your mind before we start stitching (1st May 2024) I can offer you your money back but you will lose access to the SAL.
Will there be a kit available to buy?
For this one there isn't a kit but there are lots of links on where to buy all the fun supplies from once you're inside the SAL. You will need 47 skeins of thread for this one and a piece of evenweave or aida around 14 x 14 inches. They're the basics of what you need but I also recommend some other extras inside.
