Stitch Along FAQs, testimonials and details

What is a Stitch Along?

A stitch along is an event where we all stitch the same pattern together over a set number of weeks/months for a certain length of time. Mine are usually released weekly and run from anything from 8 weeks - 1 year.

How will I get inside after I purchase it?

Once you have purchased there will be a link on the confirmation page taking you right inside, plus you will get an email. You should either have to create an account with Teachable (the platform that hosts the course) or log in if you already have an account.

How long will it take to finish?

If you follow along with the SAL that is currently running and stay on track you will have a finish the date the SAL finished. But don't worry if you fall behind, you get access to all of the patterns and videos even after we finish. I don't want you to worry about staying on track and rushing to finish during a SAL; just enjoy the process and know that all the patterns will be there for you waiting for you when you're ready.

What comes with the purchase?

Stitch alongs are fully digital products so you get instant access and nothing in the mail. There is a list of the supplies you need once you're inside the SAL you're joining.

You will get a video walkthrough of the pattern each week and lots of hints and tips to help you along, plus the free Facebook group which is so supportive and helpful.

Do I have to show up at a certain time or day?

If the SAL has any extra Zoom calls then you can come to them live, but if you can't due to timezone/work etc. you can just watch the replay. For the pattern releases you just log into Teachable and access the patterns each week.

How long do I have access to the product for?

How does forever sound? That's right, as long as the Hannah Hand Makes exists, you will have access to anything you purchase. Plus you can download them to keep.

Do you offer refunds?

For downloadable patterns, refunds are usually not offered. However, if you change your mind before the stitch along starts and within 14 days of purchasing I can offer you a refund. Just get in touch hannah@hannahhandmakes.com. You can always see the pattern if you choose so you will know if you will enjoy the design before you join.

Here are what other happy customers are saying about the past SALs!

I've felt the frustration.

My biggest frustration in cross stitch has always been what to do with the finished piece. There are only so many things you can hang on the wall.

That's why I love trying to think of different ideas and usually finish off my SALs in fun ways such as clocks or wreaths.

I've been running Cross Stitch Alongs since 2017, and I've been hooked ever since. I've lost track on how many I have run now but they are always so much fun.

I just love the community that evolves throughout a SAL. It's like when you're reading the same book as your best friend; you talk all about it and guess what's coming next. That's exactly what happens during a SAL, and you don't often see that in the cross stitch community. And seeing how much time everyone else is taking for their stitching helps show you that you deserve that time as well!
