Video tutorials and Zoom calls
My biggest frustration in cross stitch has always been what to do with the finished piece. There are only so many things you can hang on the wall.
That's why I love trying to think of different ideas, although I can't take credit for this one. One of the community members, Louise, had the idea for this SAL and I can't wait to make it with you!
I've been running Cross Stitch Alongs since 2017, and I've been hooked ever since. I've lost track on how many I have run but this is my FIRST full coverage design.
I just love the community that evolves throughout a SAL. It's like when you're reading the same book as your best friend; you talk all about it and guess what's coming next. That's exactly what happens during a SAL, and you don't often see that in the cross stitch community. And seeing how much time everyone else is taking for their stitching helps show you that you deserve that time as well!
I can't wait to see your creativity come alive these next few months!
I know you're busy, so that's why the pattern is broken down into chunks that are released every week to help you stay on track to finish on time.
This is not just a cross stitch pattern! Inside you will find free tutorials, planning sheets, meet-ups and more!
You can join my free cross stitch Facebook group and get so much support from the community there; they're all amazing, encouraging and so helpful.
Just log in each week to download the design and watch all of the videos in 1 place. You can watch on your phone while you settle down with your stitching in your cross stitch spot.
What is a Stitch Along?
A stitch along is an event where we all stitch the same pattern together over a set number of weeks/months for a certain length of time.
How will I get inside after I purchase it?
Once you have purchased there will be a link on the confirmation page taking you right inside, plus you will get an email. You should either have to create an account with Teachable (the platform that hosts the course) or log in if you already have an account.
How long will it take to finish?
If you follow along week by week you will have a finished pouch in 20 weeks. But don't worry if you fall behind, you get access to all of the patterns and videos (and replays of the calls) even after we finish. I don't want you to worry about staying on track and rushing to finish; just enjoy the process and know that all the patterns will be there for you waiting for when you're ready.
What comes with the purchase?
This is a fully digital product so you get instant access and nothing in the mail. The PDF patterns are already inside with a list of the supplies you need once you're inside plus links to where you can buy them.
There is video walkthrough of the pattern each week and lots of hints and tips to help you along, plus the free Facebook group which is so supportive and helpful.
Do I have to show up at a certain time or day?
Nope, just log into Teachable and access the patterns each week.
How long do I have access to the product for?
How does forever sound? That's right, as long as the Hannah Hand Makes exists, you will have access to all of the patterns. Plus you can download them to keep.
Do you offer refunds?
For downloadable patterns, refunds are usually not offered. You can see the pattern below so you will know if you will enjoy the design before you join.
Will there be a kit available to buy?
For this one there isn't a kit but there are lots of links on where to buy all the fun supplies from once you're inside the SAL. You will need 28 skeins of thread for this one and a piece of evenweave or aida around 14 x 11 inches. They're the basics of what you need but I also recommend some other extras inside.
One more time, here's what you get when you purchase the Rumble in the Jungle Secret Stitch Along:
